Theft Policy:

Social injustices and rampant poverty throughout the Navajo Nation call Project Pueblo to action.  Although Project Pueblo and its partners on the Reservation act in good faith, the Nation’s economic conditions create a heightened risk of theft and other property loss.  Due to this risk, Project Pueblo has enacted the following policies for service trips:  

1. The following items are BANNED:
   1. Laptops
   2. Alcohol (illegal in the Navajo Nation)
   3. Drugs or controlled substances
   4. Cigarettes, Cigars, Pipes, etc.
   5. Jewelry

1. Items strongly recommended NOT to bring:
   1. Cameras
   2. Expensive cell phones
   3. Greater than $100 cash (ATM available)

PROJECT PUEBLO IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PERSONAL ITEMS BROUGHT ON THE SERVICE TRIPS.  General rule: Do not bring any valuable items.  Project Pueblo officers are assigned to take pictures during the trip and will gladly take and share photos on request.   Thank you for your cooperation and support to help keep Project Pueblo’s service trips a positive experience for all!
